Sports Meet Guidelines

Participation is open to all registered delegates of the conference.

Each participant must carry their conference ID card for entry into events.

Matches will be conducted on a knockout basis, unless otherwise notified.

Umpire/Referee decision will be final and binding.

Participants should report 15 minutes before match time. Late arrival may lead to walkover.

Organizers reserve the right to modify schedules depending on entries and time constraints.

Events: Singles (Men/Women), Doubles (Men/Women/Mixed).

Players must use non-marking shoes.

Shuttles will be provided.

Only Registered Members are allowed to play the tournament.

BCCI/ ICC rules and regulations will be followed.

Number of teams is limited to 8.

The teams will be divided into two groups.

Group stage matches will be round robin where every team will get to play with three other teams.

Group stage matches will be for 10 overs where Power Play stands for 3 overs.

Topers of each group will play the Finals.

Finals will be played under lights from 8 pm to 11 pm for 20 overs.

In case of rain or any other condition where the match cannot commence the tittle will be shared to both the finalists.

Kits and cricketing gear will not be provided.

White ball will be used for the tournament.

Teams are expected to wear color jerseys of their choice and the organizing committee will not provide the jerseys.

Umpire decision is final.

Format: Rapid (10 minutes + 5 seconds increment per move).

Swiss league/knockout depending on entries.

Standard FIDE rules will apply.

Standard carrom rules will apply.

Coins and striker will be provided; players may bring their own striker if preferred.

Events: Singles (Men/Women), Doubles.

Standard ITTF rules apply.

Bats to be arranged by participants; balls will be provided.
